Terms of Service

These terms explain the rules for using Slize Link, including short links, link-in-bio pages, QR codes, analytics, custom domains, and account features.

Effective: October 9, 2026 Last updated: October 9, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Quest Coding Technologies Limited, the operator of Slize Link ("Slize", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account, shortening a link, generating a QR code, publishing a link-in-bio page, using a custom domain, or otherwise accessing the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use Slize Link.

01

Eligibility and agreement

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement in the place where you live. If you use Slize Link for a business, brand, client, organization, or other entity, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the service is lawful in the countries and regions where you operate or share links.

02

Accounts, guest use, and security

Some Slize Link features can be used without an account. Guest use may be subject to lower limits, shorter management history, or fewer controls than signed-in accounts.

If you create an account, you must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless you promptly notify us of unauthorized access and the activity was not caused by your own failure to protect your credentials.

You may not sell, rent, transfer, or share access to an account in a way that bypasses plan limits, security controls, or ownership rules.

03

What Slize Link provides

Slize Link provides tools for creating and managing shortened URLs, link-in-bio pages, QR codes, click analytics, and related sharing features. Certain plans may also include custom domains, branded QR codes, deeper analytics, or other paid functionality.

A shortened link redirects visitors to the destination you configure. A link-in-bio page can contain multiple destinations that you choose and reorder. QR codes created through the service can point to Slize-managed short links so the destination can be managed without reprinting the code where that functionality is supported.

We may improve, replace, limit, or discontinue features. We will not intentionally make material account changes retroactive without a legitimate operational, legal, security, or abuse-prevention reason.

04

Your links, pages, and content

You keep ownership of the names, text, images, links, logos, profile information, and other content you submit to Slize Link.

You give us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, reproduce, resize, display, and transmit that content only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and provide the service to you and your audience.

You are responsible for every destination you configure and for ensuring that you have the rights and permissions needed to publish the content, branding, domain, or material you use.

We do not endorse a destination merely because it is reachable through a Slize link, QR code, or bio page.

05

Prohibited use

You may not use Slize Link to create, disguise, distribute, or facilitate links, pages, QR codes, or redirects connected to:

  • phishing, credential theft, malware, ransomware, spyware, or malicious downloads;
  • spam, automated abuse, deceptive traffic, fake engagement, or unsolicited bulk messaging;
  • fraud, impersonation, scams, misleading payment requests, or deceptive commercial activity;
  • content or activity that violates applicable law or a valid court or regulatory order;
  • sexual exploitation of minors or any material that unlawfully depicts or facilitates child abuse;
  • credible threats, targeted harassment, stalking, or instructions intended to cause unlawful harm;
  • infringement of copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other intellectual property rights;
  • circumvention of access controls, security systems, sanctions, blocks, or platform enforcement;
  • attempts to probe, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the service without authorization.

You also may not use misleading slugs, page names, custom domains, or branding to make visitors believe that a link is operated, endorsed, or secured by another person or organization when it is not.

06

Short links, redirects, and availability

We aim to keep active short links reliably redirecting, but no online service can guarantee uninterrupted availability. Redirects may fail because of maintenance, network issues, upstream providers, domain or DNS problems, abuse controls, legal requirements, destination failures, or events outside our reasonable control.

Existing links are intended to keep redirecting after a downgrade unless you delete them, the destination becomes unsafe or unlawful, the link violates these Terms, or continued operation is not reasonably possible.

We may refuse, reserve, reclaim, or disable a short code that conflicts with protected names, is used deceptively, violates these Terms, creates security risk, or is required to be removed by law.

07

Custom domains

If your plan supports custom domains, you must own or have authority to control every domain or subdomain you connect. You are responsible for registration fees, renewals, DNS settings, and third-party registrar obligations.

We may issue or manage SSL certificates and technical records needed to serve your connected domain. You authorize us and our infrastructure providers to perform the technical validation required for that purpose.

We are not responsible for outages caused by an expired domain, incorrect DNS changes, registrar action, domain transfer, nameserver failure, or another service outside our control.

08

Click analytics and measurement

When a visitor uses a Slize-managed link or QR code, we may process request and click information needed to provide analytics, security, attribution, abuse prevention, and reliable redirects. Depending on the feature, this can include time, referrer, source, medium, browser information, network information, IP address, ISP, and similar technical data.

Analytics are estimates, not audited measurements. Browser privacy features, ad blockers, bots, duplicate requests, network changes, geolocation limitations, and other technical factors can affect counts and attribution.

Your use of analytics must comply with applicable privacy, marketing, and data-protection laws. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

09

QR codes

QR codes generated by Slize Link are provided as a publishing tool. You are responsible for testing a QR code before printing, manufacturing, distributing, or embedding it in physical materials.

We are not responsible for printing errors, damaged codes, poor placement, low contrast, third-party scanning software, or physical materials that cannot be updated after production.

If a QR code resolves through a Slize short link, the continued redirect remains subject to these Terms, including our abuse, security, legal, and availability rules.

10

Link-in-bio pages

You are responsible for the public content of your link-in-bio page, including names, usernames, images, social profiles, featured links, products, events, and other destinations.

We may remove or restrict a page, individual destination, profile name, or uploaded asset that violates these Terms, infringes another person's rights, creates a security risk, or is subject to a valid legal request.

11

Free and paid features

Slize Link may offer both free and paid plans. The features, usage limits, billing period, taxes, price, renewal terms, and any introductory or founding pricing applicable to a paid plan will be shown on the pricing page or at checkout.

If a subscription renews automatically, that fact and the renewal interval will be shown before purchase. By purchasing such a plan, you authorize the recurring charge until you cancel according to the controls made available to you.

Unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise at checkout, fees already charged for a billing period are non-refundable. Cancelling or downgrading does not erase your account data or existing links simply because paid features become unavailable.

We may change future pricing or plan limits. A price change will not alter a billing period you have already paid for, and any continuing subscription price change will be disclosed before it takes effect where required.

12

Third-party services and destinations

Slize Link can link to websites, social platforms, stores, payment pages, streaming services, newsletters, and other services that we do not own or control.

Their terms, privacy practices, availability, security, and content are their responsibility. We are not responsible for loss caused solely by your use of a third-party destination, provider, registrar, hosting service, social network, or integration.

13

Slize intellectual property

The Slize Link service, software, interface, branding, design, documentation, and original materials are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

These Terms do not give you ownership of our trademarks, source code, design system, technology, or other protected materials. You may not copy, resell, sublicense, or create a competing service from protected parts of Slize Link except where the law expressly permits it.

If you send us suggestions or product feedback, you allow us to use that feedback without restriction or payment, while you keep ownership of any underlying material that belongs to you.

14

Abuse review, suspension, and termination

We may investigate suspected abuse and may temporarily restrict a link, page, QR redirect, domain, account, or feature while we review a security, safety, legal, or policy concern.

We may suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe that you have materially violated these Terms, created risk for users or infrastructure, repeatedly infringed rights, attempted to evade enforcement, failed to pay amounts due, or where suspension is required by law.

Where practical and legally permitted, we may give notice or an opportunity to correct a problem before permanent account termination. Serious phishing, malware, fraud, child exploitation, security abuse, or unlawful activity may be acted on immediately.

You may stop using the service at any time and may delete content or your account through the controls we provide, subject to lawful retention obligations and operational backups.

15

Copyright and rights complaints

If you believe a Slize link, bio page, or uploaded asset infringes your rights, contact us with enough information to identify the material, explain the right you own or represent, provide the relevant URL, and allow us to contact you.

We may remove or restrict disputed material while reviewing a credible complaint. Knowingly submitting false or misleading rights complaints may expose the sender to legal consequences.

16

Service disclaimers

Slize Link is provided on an "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that every feature will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, compatible with every device, or available in every location.

We do not guarantee audience growth, search ranking, revenue, conversion, click volume, deliverability, or performance simply because you use a Slize link, QR code, domain, or bio page.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.

17

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost goodwill, lost opportunities, or loss of data arising from your use of the service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to Slize Link during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim or the equivalent of USD 100.

These limitations do not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

18

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from third-party claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the service, your content or destinations, your infringement of another person's rights, or your material breach of these Terms.

This clause does not require you to indemnify us for loss caused by our own fraud, willful misconduct, or liability that cannot legally be shifted to you.

19

Changes to the service or these Terms

We may update these Terms when the service, law, pricing model, security requirements, or business operations change.

If a change materially reduces your rights or materially increases your obligations, we will provide reasonable notice through the website, account, or contact information associated with your account before the change takes effect where required by law.

Continuing to use the service after revised Terms take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

20

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Before starting formal proceedings, you and we agree to make a reasonable attempt to resolve a dispute by contacting the other party and describing the issue and requested resolution.

Subject to any mandatory consumer rights or jurisdiction that applies by law, disputes arising from these Terms or Slize Link will be subject to the courts with competent jurisdiction in Lagos State, Nigeria.

21

General terms

If part of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.

You may not assign these Terms without our consent, except as part of a lawful transfer of your business where the receiving party accepts these Terms. We may assign these Terms as part of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, sale of assets, or transfer of the service.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any plan-specific terms presented to you at purchase, form the agreement governing your use of Slize Link.

22

Contact

Questions, legal notices, abuse reports, and rights complaints can be submitted through our contact page.
