Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Slize Link processes when you create links, manage your page, view analytics, join the waitlist, or use our public website.

Effective: October 9, 2026 Last updated: October 9, 2026

Quest Coding Technologies Limited operates Slize Link ("Slize", "we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information when you use the Slize website, accounts, short links, QR tools, analytics, link-in-bio pages, custom domains, waitlist, and related services.

This policy should be read together with our Terms of Service and Cookie Policy.

01

Who controls your information

Quest Coding Technologies Limited is responsible for the personal information processed through Slize Link, except where a third-party service acts as an independent controller under its own privacy policy.

If you use Slize on behalf of a business, client, or organization, that organization may separately control information it chooses to collect through the destinations you link to.

02

Information we collect

Account and contact information

When you create an account, join the waitlist, contact support, or communicate with us, we may process information such as your name, email address, account identifiers, messages, and other information you choose to provide.

Links and page content

We process the destination URLs, short codes, titles, timestamps, ownership information, favicons, link-in-bio content, profile information, uploaded assets, and custom-domain information you add to the service.

QR code information

If you create a QR code, we may process the related short link, QR identifier, customization choices, output format, timestamps, and account or guest ownership information.

Click and redirect information

When a Slize-managed link is visited, our redirect and analytics systems may record information such as the source, medium, IP address, browser information, ISP, timestamp, and the short link that received the visit.

Guest and session information

If you create links without an account, Slize may use session or cookie identifiers to associate recent links with your browser and enforce guest limits.

Waitlist information

If you join the waitlist, we process your email address and submission information. The waitlist flow may also record source or position information and may enrich a country value where that functionality is enabled.

Technical and security information

We may process device, browser, network, request, log, error, and security information needed to operate the service, prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, and protect users.

03

How we use information

We use information to:

  • create, manage, redirect, and display short links and link-in-bio pages;
  • authenticate accounts and maintain account or guest sessions;
  • generate and manage QR codes connected to your links;
  • show link owners analytics and performance information;
  • operate custom-domain and related security features;
  • process waitlist requests, support messages, and service communications;
  • detect spam, phishing, fraud, malware, automated abuse, and other prohibited activity;
  • maintain, debug, secure, and improve the reliability of the service;
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

Where required by applicable law, we rely on an appropriate legal basis such as performance of our agreement with you, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, your consent, or compliance with a legal obligation.

04

Link analytics and attribution

Slize records click information so link owners can understand how their links perform. This is part of the link-management service and is different from optional analytics cookies used to measure visits to the Slize marketing website.

Analytics can be affected by bots, privacy tools, shared networks, browser restrictions, duplicate requests, missing referrers, network routing, and other technical limitations. We therefore treat analytics as useful operational measurements rather than audited records.

Link owners must use analytics lawfully and must not use Slize to combine analytics with other information in a way that unlawfully identifies, profiles, or targets individuals.

05

When we share information

We do not sell your personal information or your click data.

We may share information with service providers that help us host infrastructure, store data, deliver email, process payments, operate security controls, provide support, or perform other functions needed to run Slize. They receive only the information reasonably necessary for the service they provide.

We may also disclose information when required by law, court order, valid regulatory request, or when reasonably necessary to protect users, Slize, our infrastructure, or the rights and safety of others.

If Slize or the business operating it is involved in a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction subject to applicable law.

06

Information you make public

Short URLs, public link-in-bio pages, profile names, images, social links, custom-domain pages, and destinations you choose to publish can be visible to anyone who has the URL and may also be indexed, shared, copied, or cached by third parties.

Do not publish private information through a public Slize page or destination unless you intend it to be publicly accessible.

07

How long we keep information

We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain link ownership and redirect integrity, support analytics, resolve disputes, protect against abuse, meet accounting or legal obligations, and enforce our agreements.

Retention periods can differ by data type. For example, active account and link records may be retained while the relevant account or link remains active, while security logs, support records, and deleted data may be retained for shorter or longer periods where reasonably necessary for security, backups, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.

When information is no longer required, we delete it, anonymize it, or otherwise remove it from active use, subject to backup and legal-retention requirements.

08

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights to request access to personal information about you, correct inaccurate information, request deletion, object to or restrict certain processing, obtain a portable copy of certain information, or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

You may also have the right to complain to a data-protection authority. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.

To make a privacy request, contact us at [email protected] or use our contact page.

09

Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. These measures can include encrypted connections, access controls, application security protections, logging, backups, and abuse-prevention systems.

No online service can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and for notifying us if you believe your account or links have been compromised.

10

Cookies and similar technologies

Slize may use necessary cookies or similar browser storage for authentication, session management, CSRF protection, guest link history, security, and saved preferences. If we use optional browser-based analytics, that use is described in the Cookie Policy and is subject to applicable consent requirements.

Read the Cookie Policy for more information and for instructions on managing your cookie preferences.

11

Third-party destinations and services

Slize links can send visitors to websites and services we do not control. Those destinations have their own privacy practices. This Privacy Policy does not govern what a third-party destination collects after a visitor leaves Slize.

Our own service providers may process information in countries different from yours. Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we take steps intended to use an appropriate legal mechanism or contractual protection.

12

Children's privacy

Slize Link is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us inappropriately, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

13

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the service, law, infrastructure, or our data practices change. The current version will be posted on this page with an updated date.

Where required, we will provide additional notice before a material change takes effect.
